On August 11, 1973, a global movement was born in a basement in the Bronx. 50 years later, it’s time to celebrate the culture that raised us.

On August 11, 2023 at The Banshee House from 6pm-1am,  Theyshootn will present: “Hip-Hop ‘til Infinity”, a two-night celebration of the 50th anniversary of the genre that changed the world with a one-of-a-kind photo exhibit celebrating some of hip-hop’s biggest names. Featuring the photography of 3rd Dvision, Anthony Maes, Armando Geneyro, and others. The festivities will also include live art, tattoos, and music from DJ Vandelay, KDJ Above, and DJ Lazy Eyez, with giveaways from Good Chemistry and much more.

Then on August 12th from 6pm-8pm, come back for a photography workshop featuring breakdancers from the B-Boy Factory, which will be followed up at 8pm by the return of the Denver Beat Social, the only “open mic” for beat makers.
