There’s an underlying ethos in electronic music that’s undeniably collaborative. Artists from all over the world are interacting more and more, resulting in a collective force that fuels creativity and exploration. Collaboration in this genre is not just a method, but a movement.

Two of bass music’s most beloved, preeminent stars, CloZee and LSDREAM, are prime examples of taking collaboration to the next level. French producer Chloé Herry, aka CloZee, is known for her lucid and worldly sounds that fuse bass music with global rhythms. In 2020, she launched her artist-friendly label, Odyzey Music, committed to uplifting underground bass artists and beyond.

Since debuting the LSDREAM project in 2018, producer Sami Diament has carved out a unique path in the electronic world. His music blends wobbling bass tones, hip-hop-influenced beats, ethereal synths, and powerful lyrical messages, creating unforgettable live performances.

In 2022, CloZee and LSDREAM took a studio trip to Joshua Tree, where they discovered a profound creative synergy.

“Back in 2022 we did a studio trip in Joshua Tree to work on a few collabs.  We tapped into the most abundant creative spark, and the music just started flowing. We kept writing more and more songs, exploring new ideas that inspired us, and having the best time, being in awe of each others creativity. 

We always vibed with each other and did shows together. We did a B2B once before and loved being stage together, so as our song pile kept growing, we started dreaming about a world where we could create a project together, take all our songs, weave them into a live performance, and share our vision. THAT DREAM IS ABOUT TO UNFOLD!

 This body of work, about 20 collabs is what the LSZEE live show is built around. The 90 minute set is mostly this original music, and of course a few tunes from the homies. You won’t hear that many songs from our personal catalog, but we did do some LSZEE remixes for some of our favorites!!! We are very excited to pull up to Electric Forest, Northcoast, Bass Canyon, and Red Rocks to finally share all this with you!!” – Sami and Chloe

This creative journey led to their new side-project, LSZEE—a collaborative outlet for their fresh ideas. Over the summer, LSZEE introduced their debut productions, “FRENCH DREAM” and “CHRYSALIS,” along with the announcement of an upcoming album.

The duo headlined Electric Forest in June and performed at North Coast Festival and Bass Canyon. Their self-titled album, released last Friday, marks a major milestone not only for CloZee and LSDREAM but for the electronic music world as a whole. The album captures the space bass-fueled synergy between them, showcasing both their distinct sounds in ways that feel simultaneously fresh and familiar.

This weekend, LSZEE will headline Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Saturday, October 5th, and Sunday, October 6th. Night One will feature support from The Funk Hunters, K+Lab, and Common Creation, while Night Two will highlight jordnmoody, Skysia, and Lowcation.
