Last month, Morris, a moviestar alligator believed to be at least 80 years old, went to the great swamp in the sky after he passed away at the Colorado Gators Reptile Park outside of Alamosa. Morris was perhaps known for his role in Happy Gilmore, but he had an impressive acting resume, especially for an alligator, having acted in Dr. Dolittle 2, Interview with a Vampire, and who could forget the classic horror movie, Alligator, or its sequel, Alligator II: The Mutation. We don’t have many jokes we can make in this blurb without coming off as disingenuous, and God forbid we comedically benefit from poking fun at a recently deceased reptilian dinosaur that also had an impressive acting career. We don’t really believe that death is the end, either, so instead, with tears in our eyes, we’re just going to have to say: See you later, Alligator.
