Denver Food & Wine Festival – Tivoli Quad, Denver, CO – 9.3-6

This foodie extravaganza will feature the best of Colorado’s culinary community, the finest wine and spirits, educational tasting seminars and the signature Grand Tasting. All proceeds raise funds for Colorado restaurant workers through the Colorado Restaurant Foundation.

Good Guys 27th Griot’s Garage Colorado Nationals – The Ranch Events Complex, Loveland, CO – 9.5-7

The weekend will feature over 2,000 of the regions’ finest 1999 & older hot rods, trucks, customs, muscle cars and classics! The CSU Rams kickoff their season against the Northern Colorado Bears as the Rams head into coach Jay Norvell’s fourth season. Expectations are high but like all Colorado sports, it’s important to take it with a grain of salt and a stiff shot of Bacardi 151. 

San Luis Potato Festival – Chapman Park, Monte Vista, CO – 9.6

Promoting and celebrating the harvest, head to Chapman Park for day-long activities involving food, crafts, and music. Start the morning off with a 5k Spud Run and continue the fun with guided agriculture tours and a mashed potato dunk tank.

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival – Sloan’s Lake Park, Denver CO – 9.6-7

Back for their 25 year anniversary, The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is the largest dragon boat festival in the U.S. and the premier Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander cultural celebration in the Rocky Mountain region. Watch 42 Dragon Boat Teams race across Sloan’s Lake while sampling authentic Asian cuisine from the many food vendors at the event and check out the 100+ vendor marketplace!

Denver Gem & Mineral Showcase – National Western Complex, Denver, CO – 9.5-14

Telluride Blues & Brews Fest – Telluride Town Park, Telluride, CO – 9.12-14

The multi-stage celebration of music and craft beer offers an eclectic mix of live blues, funk, indie, rock, jam-band, gospel and soul performances accompanied by some of the best craft breweries in the country. The Festival also features kids activities, cozy late night club shows, free morning yoga sessions, local and regional food and craft vendors and so much more.

Pawtoberfest – Bear Creek Regional Park, Colorado Springs, CO – 9.13

The annual Pawtoberfest is the perfect event for those who love beer, cocktails, and dogs. One of the only dog-friendly festivals in Colorado, guests can sample spirits and craft brews from 30 beverage partners as well as enjoy a range of festivities. Visit pet-friendly vendors, participate in contests, take part in the 2-mile dog walk, or enjoy food from a range of local food trucks. Proceeds from the walk benefit the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.

Community Roots Art Festival – VisionQuest Brewery, Boulder, CO – 9.13-14

CRAFt’s purpose is to support Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) who want to connect with creatives, celebrate their work, and be in a supportive community regardless of professional skill or experience. Last year’s festival drew over 800 attendees and featured nearly 50 BIPOC food and art vendors and this year is sure to be even more vibrant!

99 Pieces of Art – Access Gallery, Denver, CO – 9.19

Celebrating 20 years in the Art District on Santa Fe, Access Gallery hosts it’s annual 99 Pieces of Art collection where every piece tells a story and every purchase makes a difference. All pieces are priced at a flat donation of $99. The event is a vibrant celebration of creativity and community. Tickets are $9.99 and include food and beverages. All proceeds from the event are directly invested back into Access Gallery’s mission and programs, providing crucial support for artists with disabilities.

Garden of the Gods Annual Powwow – Rock Ledge Ranch, Colorado Springs, CO – 9.20

Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown & Gameroom Expo – Denver Marriott Tech Center, Denver, CO – 9.19-21

The 21st annual Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown is Colorado’s premier retro arcade game festival. Hundreds of games will be available to play, with no quarters required. Unlimited gameplay is available for one, two, or all three days. Games are free with admission.

TedX Boulder – Chautauqua Auditorium, Boulder, CO – 9.28

TEDxBoulder is back for its 14th year of stimulating talks and provoking performances. There are more than a dozen speakers/performers lined up to share their wisdom. This year’s event is called Dreams & Reality and there will be live music and numerous performances in addition to the talks.
