Vail, prices vary

When you go to Vail you normally have to weave through throngs and throngs of “euro-trash,” but not this week. This week you get to weave your way through professional skiers and snowboarders. Practice starts Monday; semi-finals begin on Wednesday; finals take place on Thursday and Friday. Because you’re never going to be able to do a McTwist without ending up in a wheelchair, watch one with drink in hand.
