Eh, you know, sometimes our email submissions really get us. Take New York’s soul infused indie punkfunk grit-pop band The Benjees and its single “Filthy F$cking Rich.” The addictive tune has it all. Swearing, a grooveable beat, more swearing and it’s even able to maintain our attention for more than 6 second intervals at a time.
Which is good enough for us to slap this bad boy into our Summertime Mega-Ultra-Mix 2015.
Per the band’s bio, The Benjees embody “diverse influences ranging from Jack White to The Beastie Boys to James Brown and beyond.
