Not since the company used two chicken breasts as a replacement for sandwich bread have we been this excited to show the world how little self-control we actually maintain.
Introducing Kentucky Fried Chicken's new fashion line and online merch booth. Dubbed KFC ltd., the new brand features everything from goofy sayings on a plain sweater to chicken leg socks — even a $20,000 meteorite carved into the shape of a chicken sandwich (which already sold).
“KFC and Colonel Sanders have been American pop culture icons for more than 70 years,” Steve Kelly, KFC U.S. director of media and digital, said in a press release. “Our fans were craving a way to embrace the fried chicken lifestyle, and KFC Ltd. gives them the opportunity to let their colonel flag fly.”
In other words: We saw how this worked for Pizza Hut, so we're going to take the idea and run to the end of the Earth with it.
Best to leave your card in its rightful space for now, however — since it's release, the company has been running out of some of the more popular styles pictured below. You can still cop that creepy pillowcase though. Not like anyone's staying over anytime soon to see it. …
