Times are tough in this economy. Unemployement is rampant, inflation is looming and Pop Tarts are disappearing at an alarming rate. Luckily, Latasha Renee Love is a vigilante that won't let this stand. In Charlotte, N.C., Love called the police on her 13-year-old son after he took Pop Tarts from their house without asking her first. The police placed the underage thief under juvenile arrest and charged him with misdemeanor larceny for taking the toaster delight.

We aren't sure what's worse: the mom calling the police on her kid or the fact that police actually filed charges against the kid? Love apparently was trying to teach the kid a lesson. Stealing a $5 box of Pop Tarts warrants jail time.
