Put it on a loop, die happy …

The Stranger Things mini-series that Netflix lassoed the world with has been a great success. The story, sure, a bit out there, but amplified ten-fold by the attention to detail in its period focus and that opening scene so basic and bizarre it's infectious. It does, after all, set the mood for the next couple or ten hours of viewing. 

The show even caught the ear of deadmau5, so much so that he attempted to re-create the theme from scratch and live broadcast the process for fans. It only took him 3 hours to figure out, and even added a few twists of his own in the meantime to update the eery tone. The above clip is a recording ripped from the broadcast of the entire track.
