Off-World Updates: WTF is with all the recent hype over UFO's? Allow Rooster to explain...
Soon, some of life's biggest questions might have real answers.
Rooster readers, friends, fellow degenerates and curious freaks:
Welcome to Rooster’s Off-World Updates. In case you haven’t noticed, behind all of the COVID updates, beyond the BLM news and election year madness, some very weird shit is happening in America — concerning UFO’s.
Yes, those strange unidentified things in the sky, “flying saucers,” “tic-tacs,” "UAVs/UAPs” whatever you want to call them. Those things which have, for so long, been ignored as hoaky conspiracy speculation; which have been brushed off and dismissed as "woo-woo" by the mainstream media and our government for decades.
Recently there have been some very serious and interesting developments in this cosmic story — developments which are likely to continue trickling in over the following weeks and months. And it might get confusing out there: cluttered with opinions, speculation, political agendas, misinformation, misdirection, and “off-world” weirdness.
That’s why we’ve created this series. Off World Updates will break this saga down, summarize, clarify and explain WTF is going on with UFO’s in America right now. (It’s also my publisher’s subtle way of getting me to shut the fuck up about all this, so he doesn’t have to hear it every day.)
So, without further ado, let’s get into it. What’s happened? What’s happening? And what does that mean for mankind!?

2020 has been a wild ride. And it might be about to get a lot wilder.
In the last week, the New York Times has released two different articles concerning UFO’s. The first published on July 23rd, was titled, No longer in the shadows, Pentagon’s UFO unit will make some findings public. This piece quoted a number of government officials — one of whom, claimed that our government has recently retrieved “off-world craft, not of this Earth” from some kind of crash.
(Contrary to rumors that this was an official Pentagon statement, it was actually retired Senator Eric Davis who said this, who still holds significant security clearance at the Penagon. He later corrected his statement to be a little vaguer, but did not retract what he had said.)
The second article, published four days later, essentially backs up everything said in the first, after a whirlwind of confusion and speculation kicked up around No longer in the shadows.
“Numerous associates of the Pentagon program, with high security clearances and decades of involvement with official UFO investigations, told us they were convinced such crashes have occurred, based on their access to classified information.” Read the second article, Do we believe in UFO’s? That’s the wrong question, no doubt alluding to Davis and other sources.
WTF is going on here? Has our government actually got their hands on alien craft? Do we finally have an answer to the age-old question of: Are we alone in the universe ?
Maybe. Something is clearly going on. Exactly what, though, remains to be seen. This is the latest link in a chain of events that have been unfoldiung for some time, now.
In 2017 the Pentagon confirmed several leaked videos of UFO’s, admitting that they’re real, they have no idea what they are, and that they regularly interfere with Naval airspace. That was huge. Finally, the world had three authentic military videos of legitimate Unidentified Flying Objects — the first real evidence in this mystery’s history. (Those three videos are linked below.)
Then a year ago, three senators received a confidential briefing from a secretive pentagon program dedicated to researching the UFO phenomena (a taskforce few in government even knew existed). Whatever they learned in there, clearly shook some of them. Senator Mark Warner walked out of that meeting, fumbling with his words and looking pale.
It wasn't long after that, the Senate Intelligence Committee moved to require US intelligence agencies and the Defense Department to compile and release a public analysis on “unidentified aerial phenomena” (UAP = UFO).
They want the public briefed on this mystery. Because, as Senator Marco Rubio asserts, these UFO things could pose a threat to “national security.” So they added a provision to the Senate Intelligence authorizatoin bill, which requires that within 180 days (six months), the Pentagon would have to publicly release a report on the UFO situation.
And now, here we are: Another high-ranking ex-senator, with significant pentagon security clearance is making claims about the US having recovered “off-world craft.” The NYT is publishing one article after another, building towards some kind of new release of information concerning UFO’s. And every day it feels like we might actually be one step closer to actual, government disclosure — the moment we’ve all been waiting for!
It would change the course of human history, altering our future and our perception of the past. Suddenly we would have to review our historical events and all religions with a totally different lens of understanding. Were the pyramids really built just by Israeli slaves and Egyptian engineers? Or did they have help? Was Shiva a demi god of fantasy? Or was he actually an ancient astronaut?
Disclosure from the government would mean that UFO research would become a real scientific pursuit. People would have to start having real conversations about these things at universities and in research labs, what they are, where they come from and what that means for Life on Earth and human civilization. It would create a new niche in news for journalists to seriously cover. It would inspire the imaginations of billions of people, and, with a little luck, maybe it would bring the world closer together.
But disclosure should also be taken with a grain of salt. The government wouldn’t tell us something so consequential if they didn’t have a reason to. Ask yourself why they would want to tell us this? What’s in it for them, to release such a huge secret, after all this time? Why now?
There are a lot of questions, and not many answers … yet. Hopefully soon, that changes.
