Imagine, you're on the Price is Right and Drew Carey says next item up for bids. As the curtain pulls away, a baby stroller sits in the corner with a brand new baby girl. As you're about to play Cliffhanger's Loss, you contemplate the benefit of a small person around your house imagining the delicacy of child hands sewing your favorite shirts. Sounds good, you start the yodeling song.

If this seems like the perfect game show, then head on over to Pakistan where a local TV program dubbed "the Islamic Price is Right" is handing out babies in bulk as prizes in order to gain higher Ramadan ratings. 

Host Amir Liaquat Hussain has already given out two abandoned babies to childless couples. The price of those babies has yet to be determined but since Amir had this to tell the studio audience about the babies, we can't imagine the bidding was too high. 

"This is the beautiful girl who was thrown on pile of garbage by somebody. See how beautiful and innocent she is.” 

At first this show might be construed as a Saudi Sheik's auction for virgins but it is actually a game show that's making couples' dreams come true. One couple who were unable to have children had this to say about their new prize:

“These 14 years were full of hardships, people asked to go for second marriage but I remained patient and also asked my wife to be patient. It's a gift of Ramadan."

Sure it is. If babies seem a little too real and alive for you, the show also offers plots of land, home theater systems, washing machines and computers. 

According to The Sun, ratings during the holy month are most competitive with shows ranging from a live and always-entertaining conversion of a Hindu to Islam to a model posing nude for a Indian magazine performing an exorcism — one of our favorite primetime shows.
