Breaking Benjamin lit up Fiddler’s Green on Friday night with the kind of rock show that reminds you why you bought tickets in the first place. The sound was massive, the lights were wild, and Ben Burnley owned the stage from the jump. Burnley even took a beat mid-set to check in on two young boys up front to make sure they’re safe from the crowd surfers above them (because nothing screams “family night out” like a wall of sweaty dudes falling on your 12-year-old).
From the start, the energy was instant—the kind where in the first few songs the stage felt alive, crowd surfers launching, singalongs swelling. They opened the show up with a bang with songs like Awaken and Blow Me Away and never let up. The production was massive, the riffs hit harder than your morning hangover, and by the time they closed with “The Diary of Jane,” the whole venue was a choir of blown-out voices and sore necks. It was one hell of a night, and I can’t wait to see how they top it next time!
