RV Driver Dumps Sewage Into Colorado Gas Station’s Diesel Supply, Furthering Our Theory That Most Americans No Longer Know How to Read
A gas station in Montrose, Colorado fell on some hard times after a RV driver dumped their sewage collection into an underground storage tank for diesel fuel.
Before we get into it: this isn’t going to be one of those pieces where we make a dozen poop jokes over the course of a paragraph or three. We take reporting Absurdist News seriously at The Rooster, and providing you, the reader, with the no-nonsense facts has always been our number one priority. Making poop jokes in the subtext of our articles? Well, that’s number two.
Anyway, we don’t know if you’ve ever emptied out your poop tank on an RV before, but it’s not exactly rocket surgery, OK? You find RV dump sites, throw a hose into a little hole, and let your sewage flow into an underground tank where it’s presumably mined as an energy resource for gnomes or dwarves or something. We don’t really understand how somebody could mistake the diesel storage at a gas station for the poop hole… unless they didn’t know how to read. Given the accelerated use of AI as well as declining education rates, we don’t think that’s as far-fetched of a theory as you might believe.
Regardless, the next time somebody on the western slope asks you how fuel prices are, we all know the answer: they’re pretty shitty.
