Drink Red, Wear Red – Mile High Station – 6.5

Drink Red Wear Red is a food and wine tasting event that raises crucial funds for Colorado restaurant workers. The summer soirée invites guests to dress up in their best red attire – from funky to formal – for a night out in downtown Denver. Over 20 local restaurants will be serving all-you-can-eat bites as guests sip wines, signature cocktails, spirits, and N/A beverages, too.

GoPro Mountain Games – Vail Village, Vail, CO – 6.5-6.8

Get your gears ready for one of the largest celebrations of sports, arts, and music in America. You can get a little bit of everything at this 4-day festival while enjoying all of the wonderful things Vail normally has to offer. There’s something for the sports enthusiast and the art junkie. Greely Blues Jam – Island Grove Regional Park, Greeley, CO – 6.6-6.7

The Blues Jam is essentially a party with 11 hours of Blues and Blues-inspired music on two stages within the Island Grove Regional Park. Get high at the Telluride Balloon Festival! Weather permitting, watch hot air balloons lift off from Telluride Town Park and float effortlessly over the Telluride Valley. Don’t miss the Balloon Glow on Main Street on Saturday night – it’s an amazing sight! 

Colorado Medieval Fest – Savage Woods, Loveland, CO – 6.6-6.8

Taking place over 3 days, on-site performers include magicians, belly dancers, and sword fighters as well as live bands. And don’t worry about food and drinks as there are plenty of options to indulge in during the festival. Attendees can also participate in contests like Heavy & Light Hammer, Caber & Weight for Height, Braemar Stone, Heavy & Light Weight for Distance, and Sheaf. Costumes are encouraged but not required. 

World Oddities Expo – National Western Complex, Denver, CO – 6.7-6.8

The World Oddities Expo is a traveling oddities festival- a peculiar paradise where weird thrives! The event prides itself on being an all inclusive artisan and small business fueled mega-convention. Denver Chalk Art Festival – Golden Triangle Neighborhood, Denver, CO – 6.7-6.8

The Denver Chalk Art Festival showcases over two hundred artists painting their masterpieces in the Mile High City’s Golden Triangle neighborhood.The event features five madonnari (professionals in this medium), two of which are Colorado residents.
