The 47th Denver Film Festival – 11.1-11.10

Reefer Madness – The Musical  – 11.2-30

Lincoln Center, FoCo

There is a new menace sweeping the nation, ready to ensnare and seduce the youth and drag them down into a life of sin: REEFER MADNESS! Inspired by the 1936 propaganda film of the same name, this raucous musical comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when two clean cut kids fall prey to the Devil’s Cabbage. Showtimes run Fri, Sat, & Sun. throughout November.

Denver Fashion Week – 11.9-11.17

Denver Fashion Week (DFW) is Colorado’s largest fashion showcase featuring emerging designers, local boutiques, national brands, hairstylists, makeup artists, and models. DFW prides itself on being all-inclusive, uplifting, and supportive of emerging talent.

Straight no Chaser: Top Shelf Tour – 11.9

Paramount Theater, Denver, CO

Unlike your roommate in the shower, Straight No Chaser knows how to sing. The acapella group is going on its 28th year of touring as they cover songs, write their own and put on one hell of a show. Move quickly because tickets sell out fast.

 

Denver Veterans Day Parade & Festival  – 11.9

The Denver Veterans Day Parade is comprised of local Veterans organizations and supporters. Thousands of spectators line City Park to show respect and honor for our local Veterans.

 

Cat Fest Colorado – 11.10

Have you spent a small fortune on Lego sets that were not for your children? Then you should definitely check out Brick Fest! There will be hands on attractions (adult and kid friendly), plenty of Lego merch and life-size models built entirely out of bricks. There’s also a brick pit but, if you’ve ever stepped on one of those little bastards, that doesn’t actually sound all that appealing.

We have nothing but respect for how quick and athletic these players are and to pay honor to them, we will sit, drink beer, and cheer them on. The Avalanche have a solid squad this year and catching games before ticket prices shoot up is always a good thing.
