Monday, Nov 9
Halsey
Gothic Theatre

The Internet is altering everything around us in ways never expected — even tracking the way people think. And the fallout of it is real, especially in the music industry. This past March, the East Coast singing/songwriting pop come-up known as Halsey was the number 1 mentioned artist on social media during the South by Southwest music, tech and film festival. This was accomplished with little more behind her back than great music and the fingers of need-to-know fans. It’s clear why too, because she writes and performs some of the catchiest worms on the circuit, including her breakout smash “New Americana.” Halsey for days.

Monday, Nov 9
Peaches
Summit Music Hall

With album names like “Fatherfucker” and “Impeach My Bush,” the polarizing Canadian punker stuffed with electro isn’t exactly a run of the mill artist. Her desire to push the status quo makes her unique, but still oddly comforting. She has a new album too, so expect new tracks — but also expect things to get weird.

Tuesday, Nov 10
Broncho
Larimer Lounge

Listen closely to BRONCHO’s tracks and you may find yourself recognizing at least some of them from various commercials, HBO shows or Cartoon Network campaigns. The Norman, OK–based rock band may not be a huge marquis draw right now, but they soon could be with its baller licensing strategy.

Thursday, Nov 12
Chali 2na
Cervantes’ Masterpiece

Does anyone have a spare room this man may rent so he doesn’t have to stay on the bus? It seems like every other week the founding member of Jurassic 5 is here to rip rafters off. But we’re not complaining, the iconic hip-hop emcee is welcome in this town any time …

Friday, Nov 13 – Saturday, Nov 14
The Motet
Ogden Theatre

While it might be hard to find a long-time resident of Colorado that hasn’t seen the electrifying big-band styled funk and jazz force The Motet, that doesn’t mean people have stopped going. In fact, the act is on a huge upswing, and a two-night run at the Ogden is proving its worth.

Saturday, Nov 14
Kill Paris
Gothic Theatre

When The Gothic Theatre started transitioning to a more dance-heavy calendar, we knew for sure it would begin plucking the greats from our own backyard. Kill Paris is a necessity in the scene, and is one of the best we have. Pepper that with other notables and we’ve got ourselves a proper rager.

Sunday, Nov 15
Big Freedia
Summit Music Hall

The Queen Diva is back! We’re telling you, there won’t be a stagnant booty in the building when the NOLA-based twerk queen drops her energetic fire. With the big feast around the corner, it’s a good thing to grab a few cardio points while we can. Bounce, bounce, bounce!

Friday, Nov 20
Night Riots
Bluebird Theater

If Coldplay had a little brother that was pretty into the whole ‘80s synth movements and dark imagery (but was also super attractive), the resulting band would absolutely be Night Riots. After dropping its 2015 EP Howl, the Cali-based alt-rock act took off, and comes back to town grabbing notable locals to pack its Friday night bill.

Thursday, Dec 3
Slow Magic and Giraffage
Gothic Theatre

In a world where anonymity is about as bountiful as an Ebola breakout in America, Slow Magic has been able to not only keep its identity a pseudo-secret, but thrives while doing so. His (her?) down-tempo style is something sweet dreams could be made of, and provides a thrilling presence for any live outing.

Saturday, Dec 5

What in the actual flying fuck? Where the hell did 2015 go and can we get our money back? The annual 93.3 Not So Silent Night event usually is a fair warning the end is nigh and that it’s time to make NYE plans. Bringing Bastille, Cold War Kids, the Wombats and others, the event is stacked.
