It may be a coping mechanism, but at least it's hilarious
As the coronavirus spreads across borders, fears surrounding it have begun to mount; people all over the world are getting nervous, governments are preparing to shut down their borders and it’s likely that we’ll start seeing localized quarantines falling on cities all around the world.
And of course, spreading across the internet, almost as quickly as the virus itself is spreading across the land, is an explosion of flat out hilarious coronavirus memes.
Leave it to the internet. No threat is too scary, or situation too serious for the world wide web to mock. Maybe that’s a good thing – maybe it helps us cope with the threat of apocalyptic annihilation and civil decay.
