When Daft Punk released their “Get Lucky” single earlier this year and force-fed the world a type of interstellar funk for the masses, we weren’t exactly sure how far it would go. Through a series of decoded presidential speeches, the creative geniuses over at Baracks Dubs a popular YouTube channel that mixes things with other things, found out what we really knew all along. The phenomenon goes all the way to the top.

Barack Obama, heard of him? It turns out that he is a Daft Punk sympathizer and his whole presidential career was a sly and historical marketing campaign for the recent release of “Random Access Memories.” As if redundant crusading and buying a racecar weren’t enough, the French electronic / dance-duo launched a systematic political invasion to subliminally sell more albums.
