[New Music] Sweet lord, Aaliyah drops a new track, makes us whole again

What better way to ring in a new era than to take us back more than a decade and a half — a time when Aaliyah reigned supreme and Timbaland was her sidepiece?

Recently, the Midas-touch producer took to his SoundCloud and dropped a track featuring an unreleased Aaliyah hook. "Shakin'" is part of a larger mixtape, which is itself a precursor to a tentative new album drop from Timbaland. It's like, every good thing from the end of the 20th century is coming back to make us whole once again.
