Teacher fails first rule of student-teacher relationship: don't show up to the prom after-party

We understand that when you're in love, you're in love. And sometimes, it's hard to stay away from that person for so long. Yet when you're a 25-year-old teacher and your lover is a 16-year-old male student, the circumstances are a little different. For Nikki Scherwitz, a 10th grade English teacher at a Texas high school, love trumped logic and the teacher found herself at a prom after-party following her heart. Drunk, shoeless, clothes torn and looking for a good time, Scherwitz searched out her boy-toy but was told to leave by another student. She left, and she took her teenage lover with her.

Sadly, Texas school officials didn't see the same relationship spark and Scherwitz was charged with sexual assault of a child and improper relationship between a student and an educator. She's currently out on $50,000 bond.

And so ends another story of a hot teacher taking advantage of a student. We are so glad we didn't have any hot teachers at our school. One look at the English teacher and it would have taught you that abstinence was the way to go.
