True Blood Announced Its Last Season. So Here’s Snoop Dogg’s Tribute “Oh Sookie” To Alleviate Woes.
HBO announced yesterday that the next season of the highly sexualized series True Blood will be its last. The age-old tale of gorgeous vampires eating and fucking their way through a small Louisiana marshland is calling it quits after an impressive seven-string run. The sixth season of the series ended last month with an audience of around 10.6 million, and is said by the network to still be one of the most popular of their creative shows.
HBO Programming President Michael Lombardo had this to say of the recent announcement.
True Blood has been nothing short of a defining show for HBO. Together with its legions of fans, it will be hard to say goodbye to the residents of Bon Temps.
