Next time you’re preparing your cover letter highlighting how you’re pretty much the best at this thing called life, you might want to consider the annual list of overused words and phrases from professional networking site LinkedIn. According to their 2012 tracking of most overused words found in member profiles, “Creative,” “Organizational,” and “Effective” are the most overused buzzwords on the site – and coincidentally traits our college professors said we lack. But before you go and rewrite your resume masterpiece, try incorporating words that sauce up your talents. “Bro,” “Hella” and “Dime piece” are a few words we recommend using when applying for any high-end position. When used in a sentence, “Bro, that secretary of yours is a hella dime piece." Works every time.
