World's first-ever marijuana vending machine makes its debut in Colorado. As if getting weed here weren't easy enough.
Stuffing your face with weed in Colorado just got even easier, thanks to ZaZZZ, the world's first-ever marijuana vending machine. A technological spectacle that's the first of its kind, it removes human interaction from the weed-buying process, creating the shortest distance between pot and you.
We mean, come on. Make us work for it a little!
The machine, which is stocked with edibles and THC tinctures, made its debut at Herbal Elements dispensary in Avon, Colorado last Friday.
You'll still need to show a valid driver's liscense and be over 21 to use the vending machine, but you have to talk to exactly zero human beings in the process, making it a perfect option for those who want to stroke their introversion into submission.
Herbal Elements owner Greg Honan sees the machine as a better way to track inventory and reduce theft.
“We’re looking forward to using the ZAZZZ machine to easily track all this inventory … we’re gonna eliminate the middle man,” said Herbal Elements owner Greg Honan. “It’ll go straight from the wholesaler, the courier, to our budtender, right into our machine. There’s no room for theft by patients, employees … there’s no way to lose track of the inventory.” Wonderful!
For now, ZaZZZ is aimed at supplying medical marijuana patients only with easy-to-access edibles, but that could change soon. Once its licensed in more stores, it'll be used for both medical and recreational weed, kind of like those automated grocery store checkout things but with way more 4/20 chill vibes.
