The Riot Fest lineup proves the festival does whatever the F it wants

Time to start complaining about them not picking that one obscure band you only listen to because nobody else does …

Since we’re not going to sit here and pretend you’ll actually read what we have to say and have likely already scrolled down to the lineup poster, we’re going to take this space and highlight a few notable appearances and happenings come this installment of Riot Fest and Rodeo taking place Aug 28-30.

– Several artists have confirmed they’ll be performing their seminal albums for this year’s festival including:

• Snoop Dogg ("Doggystyle")
• Ice Cube & Guests ("Straight Outta Compton Remix")
• Rancid ("… And Out Come The Wolves")
• The Academy Is… ("Almost Here")
• The Dwarves ("Blood Guts and P*ssy")

– The Rock-afire Explosion — the nightmare-inducing animatronic rock band built specifically for ShowBiz pizza in the ‘80s (what would eventually become Chuck E. Cheese’s) — will also have a dedicated stage to perform all weekend long.
