Yooo Ghastly. How are you feeling?
I’m currently feeling quite above average as of lately; life is good, friends are good, family's good and all of that is good.
Where are you now and what are you about to get into?
Currently relaxing on planet Earth at my humble abode finishing up music as always.
Tell us a little about the Haunted House tour, sounds spooky!
I can’t give away too much, but what I will say is the stage production is the craziest thing we’ve attempted!
Three favorite Halloween candies?
I actually don’t really like candy; I usually just break into the person’s house and steal their ice cream.
What was your most memorable costume as a kid? (Ours was a bootleg plastic Care Bears mask that smelled like spit.)
I’ll never forget when I had a Scream mask that would squirt blood down its face. I had never seen anything like it as a kid, and squeezing that little plastic heart attached to it, and making blood slide down my face, and terrifying all of the children in the neighborhood brought such a joy in my heart. No pun intended.
We know you’re not allowed to have a 'favorite' track (kind of like kids), but secretly you might? But what is it, what’s your favorite track you’ve ever made?
I really can’t say I have a favorite, you already answered that one for me. [laughs]
Fair enough! What’s one thing you’ve learned from the music industry that anyone else can use in their own lives?
Make sure the tea you’re drinking doesn’t have a tampon string hanging out of the glass …
Hmmm … strange flex … Where do you think the electronic industry is headed in the next 5, 10, or 15 years?
Well if you would asked someone that 15 years ago, I highly doubt they would say it would be exactly where it is now. I feel it has implemented itself as a staple in our society, but how it grows from there is entirely dependent on the artists and the attendees involved.
What can fans expect out of you coming up? How HARD do you plan on going at Red Rocks?
I have too many plans for my own good too many ideas, but that’s a good thing. All I can say for now is the future is very bright with dark concepts; as for going hard at Red Rocks, I always perform with a half chub.
Ghastly is playing at Red Rocks Amphitheater for HARD Halloween on October 26th. Go for the spooks, stay for the tunes.
