When Denver-based comedian Adam Cayton-Holland told his parents he wanted to do stand-up, he says they reacted in the way any loving parent would: Completely unsupportive and slightly embarrassed. 

But now he's on television, having appeared on Conan before and currently embedded deep in all kinds of press runs pushing his new series (with Ben Roy and Andrew Orvedahl, two other comedians from Colorado) "Those Who Can't" — appearing tomorrow (Feb 11) on truTV. Now his parents are telling everyone and taking credit for all that they haven't given him. That's the nature of stand-up.
