Indian artist Ani K gives a whole new meaning to paste-eating. His elaborate portraits are painted with a body part none other than his tongue. Yeah, like the thing you use to swallow food.

Focusing on famous Indian personalities and his own interpretations of classic paintings like "The Last Supper" as subject matter, Ani completes each of his works by dipping his face in a plate of paint and rubbing it around on a canvas. He says he was inspired to try tongue-painting after seeing work by a man who painted with his feet. But like the intrepid artist he is, he couldn't stand the thought of mimicking the foot-painter's technique, so he thought "Hey, I'm literally just going to lick paint instead because f*ck it."

Well, turns out tongue-painting is cool and all, but it's pretty much just eating paint. Ani suffered severe headaches, nausea and body aches after he first started tongue painting due to the chemicals, but even the fact that he was swallowing globs of poisonous pigment didn't deter him from his passion, and he's now become immune to its side effects. Wow, artsy and superhuman? We like it.
