It’s a sad day when a porn studio shuts its doors. The San Francisco Armory, a 200,000-square-foot property that’s served over 10 years as Kink.com’s famed film studios, has been sold, and will no longer serve as a Wonka Factory of deviant masturbation material.

There’s a silver lining to this loss — as the adult entertainment company is preparing the space for its new tenants, it’s cleaning house with an auction of its art, furniture, costumes and props. The items on sale range wildly, from the “wholesome” to the “holy shit that’s perverted.”

The reason for the move is attributed to the dying porn industry. Kink.com's subscriber base has shrunk by 40 percent in the age of torrenting and tube sites, and it seems the business can no longer support the huge facility they purchased a decade ago.

Instead, Kink CEO Peter Acworth plans on converting much of the building into office space. Since there aren't a lot of companies willing to listen to women being butt-fucked by machines while they're on a conference call, Acworth thought it best to move the studio. Kink’s directors are now scattering to Las Vegas and other parts of southern California.

"In our decade in the Armory, we spent almost as much time decorating it as we did shooting in it," spokesman Mike Stabile said in a statement. “Anyone who came here on a tour, or for a party, or a business meeting will remember the high Victorian décor, the vintage furniture, the walls of art, and the tremendous history.”

“Of course, we are Kink.com, so it’s not your grandmother’s estate sale,” Stabile said. “Those with more discerning tastes will definitely find a little leather mixed in with the lace.”

For shoppers who are stuffy old fuddy-duddies: there’s a mahogany grandfather clock, a concert grand piano, antique paintings and chandeliers.

For young studs building bachelor pads: there are gym machines, a pool table, air hockey table, flat screen TVs, drink and candy vending machines.

For dominatrixes looking for new toys for the dungeon: there are antique veterinary exam tables, dental chairs, gynecological chairs, a torture rack, steel animal cages and a human-sized hamster wheel.

At Kink’s moving away sale, there’s truly something for everyone.
