The Rooster, brought to you in part by nobody else, legally forced our interns to create another long playlist for you to listen to while eating up the clock.

Do you love playlists? We said do you love playlists!? Put your hands up in the thin, Colorado air if you’re one of the many who love these playlists! That’s it, just like that, right in the office, put them up, wave them wildly and show us how much you love playlists!

…eh, it doesn’t have as much gusto when it’s a website asking you to "knucks-up" at work on a Monday as it would if we were say, Rihanna, telling everyone to blindly absolve to her every whim and desire during a maniacal performance. It’s fine. We may not be Rihanna, thankfully, but we do have something for you that's completely unrelated to her.

The Rooster, brought to you in part by nobody else, has made another long playlist for you to listen to while eating up the clock on this heat-stroke inducing workday. Seriously, if you’re in the company A/C right now you’re not missing much outside. It’s like we always say, “To hell with the heat, being nippy is so neat, and the cold in the office is our corporation’s treat!

So to make good on the promise we just made a few lines up, here’s our lengthy Underground Music Showcase playlist that we legally forced our interns to amass. It’s inspired by one of the first announcements of the UMS artist lineups. The four-day, four…long…day festival starts this Thursday, July 24, and brings with it more than 400 performances at over 20 different venues stretched along the South Broadway (Bro-way, SoBo, Brah-dway) drag. Tickets as of press time are still $50 dollars, but will go up in price shortly. Trust us, you want to go to this.
