You don't have to leave behind the days gone by when a cold Slurpee was the only thing to look forward to. Because you're adulting now, and with adulting comes the innate responsibility to live like there's no tomorrow. What better way to do such a thing than combine the beauty of youth with the mind-erasing qualities of being a grown-up?

Introducing, the Rum and Coke slushy …

Ingredients:

2 cans Coca-Cola (or whatever cola is handy. Pepsi, generic? Fuck it, we're putting rum in this thing.)
6 oz. Dark Rum (Kraken is a crowd-pleaser)
Lime slices
Ice (optional – see video below)

Process:

• Freeze Coca-Cola for a few hours until it's nice and solid.
• Hack away at it with a butter knife or throw it into a blender* to smooth-out.
• Dump in rum, squeeze in a bit of lime juice.
• Go to town on it on a hot summer day.

*No blender? No problem …
