Werner Herzog is a German director, writer and producer who has spent the better part of his 72 years of life on this planet creating documentaries, multiple TV series and feature films about the perils of humanity.  A true cynic at heart, Herzog is often caught loaded with plenty to say about the destructive nature of people and is always brutally honest in his delivery.

Which is why we’re glad somebody out in the world thought to take his hope-crushing statements and render them in with motivational-poster type imagery. Because if we’re sitting in the dentist's chair getting tooth-hammered by an old man smelling of Brut, we’d rather be staring at the wall reading stories of gloom, despair and abject reality.
