We're sure most people are wondering whether or not the youtube sensation Psy and his hit song "Gangnam Style" actually made some green from the over 1 billion views of the song. The answer: yes. Google Chief Business Officer Nikesh Arora revealed that the video pulled in over $8 million in advertising sales last year. That doesn't mean the Psy took the whole lump sum. The video generates about $.65 every time it's played with Google pocketing the other $.35 for profit. Long story short, Psy and his label unofficially brought in $4 million from that one single alone. And since no one can name another song by Psy or point out the Korean MC Hammer in a lineup, it's safe to say the $4 million was his total take home for the year.
