The low rates are practically begging you to take advantage of them.

If you're the proud operator of a moving vehicle, you've probably noticed that gas prices haven't been this low since … forever. Since before you were born. Since time existed.

The average price for a gallon of fuel in Denver has dropped 3.1 cents in the past week to $1.76, and is expected to dip even lower as the year progresses. Another 15 cent drop is anticipated before the summer. Statewide, the average price per gallon is hovering at around $1.79.

And while gas prices haven't fallen below a dollar here in Colorado, they are all over the the country … but only because of certain price wars. One station in Michigan was slanging gallons for 47 cents, which is just fucking ridiculous.

Wasting this rare dip in gas costs would be criminal, and we both know there's only one thing to do about these insanely low prices: Epic. Fucking. Road. Trip.

The one we're going to wholeheartedly endorse here requires you to quit your job and shed your relational baggage, but it doesn't matter because your transportation costs should be low enough to warrant your unemployment. But, more importantly, this road trip has been scientifically proven to be the most ultimate road trip known to man. To create it, data scientist Randy Olson calculated a perfect strategy for hitting all 48 contiguous U.S. states and their best landmarks in the least amount of time.

Stops include the Grand Canyon, the White House, Mount Rushmore and 47 other landmarks, monuments, state parks and other shit that's more important to look at than your computer screen.

The 13,699-mile journey would take approximately 9 days to do without stopping, but that's some beast mode shit we doubt you're capable of. What are you, fucking Looper? However, if you were to stop to, you know, eat or pee or sleep or enjoy your life, the whole thing would take about 2-3 months.

Here's a map of where you'll be going:
