And they only sing about pizza! And Macaulay Culkin is in it! And it's called Pizza Underground! Oh dear god…it's so beautiful. Darling, you just simply have to see this.

What is Macaulay Culkin doing in a Velvet Underground cover band that only sings about pizza? We don't know, and we don't care. All that matter is that Macaulay Culkin is running around, singing about pizza, and making songs like "I'm Beginning to Eat the Slice" and "Waiting for the Delivery Man" and "Cheese Days." And that they've recorded a demo:

They've even played a show in New York, no doubt to the sort of Brooklyn/ East Village crowd that would delight in seeing a washed up movie adulterate other people's music with pizza lyrics. The band, which is an official band you guys, wants to make it very clear that they formed in February of 2012, way before Lou Reed died, and if you had any doubts as to whether that makes the fact that they're singing about pizza any more legit, it doesn't!

According to the band's Bandcamp page, Macaualay's contribution to the pizza jams includes vocals, kazoo, and percussion, performed stripped-down style on empty pizza boxes. Where did the pizza in those boxes go? They ate it! They're a pizza band!

Well, it's more apparent now than ever that Macaulay's got nothing but time (he's not in many films 'cheese days') and shitloads of Home Alone money, so it looks like if he wants to sink his teeth into this venture in the same manner one would sink their teeth into a DiGiorno pie, then we're sure it'll be great.
