Greener Grounds slays festivals, is going on tour and wants to give you free music. These are all good things.

If you’re one of those young, hippy-dippy types living in Colorado, you’re probably well aware that the state is home to arguably the best jam/jamtronica scene in the country. Not only is Colorado the home of jam band legends such as String Cheese Incident, but it's also a favorite pit stop for jam bands across the board (Don’t tell anyone, but we have a hunch that it’s because everyone here is "high" all the time.). This vibrant and diverse niche of the Colorado music scene has been going strong for years and just keeps getting better thanks to up-and-coming bands like Greener Grounds.

Fresh off the July release of its debut EP “Photosynthesis” — a 5-track sonic journey that blends the right amount of feel-good vibes and titillating jam sessions, the Denver-based jamtronica outfit is primed for big things in the coming months. Stylistically, GG exhibits some clear influence from jamtronica maestros like STS9, Lotus or Papadosio, but it still manages to put a unique touch of powerful emotionality and technical prowess into each track. After slaying at both Sonic Bloom and ARISE Music festival this summer, Greener Grounds announced recently that it plans to tour the state on a fall outting.

If, like us, your extremities could use a little movement, we suggest you invest in a FREE download of “Photosynthesis”  and maybe snag tickets to an upcoming Greener Grounds gig while you’re at it.
