Because why wouldn't you want to listen to this song over, and over, and over, and over …

We all know it, we've all sung the wrong words to it, and we all hear it at every bar in existence at least twice between the hours of 10:00 pm and 2:00 am. We're talking of course about Journey's anthemic "Don't Stop Believin'" — quite possibly the most American thing to come out of America since cheeseburgers and debt crises. It's a timeless classic that will inevitably live on in the hearts of every individual looking for a pick-me-up through old-school nostalgia. But the original, while iconic in its delivery, can get stale at times (especially if you're one to frequent the bar on a regular basis). So we've gathered up some of our favorite remixes so that you can listen to the same song, reworked, for the next hour.

Fair warning: This will  be stuck in your head for the next few days. Don't say we didn't warn you …

Journey – "Don't Stop Believin' (Ludomir Remix)"

Want to know what it's like to listen to the song with intertwined bird chirps and an island-style vibe? Crack open a Red Stripe, this one gets interesting.

JayBae Music – "Don't Stop Believing Hip Hop Remix"

While JaeBae Music's remix doesn't stray far from the original track (aside from a few tossed in electronic backends), it does give it a unique club vibe that lead singer Steve Perry would likely never have thought of in 1981 when the song was recorded. Time changes all.

Journey – "Don't Stop Believing (Swedish House Mafia Remix)"

Did you really think Swedish House Mafia was going to touch something and not  make it a head-knocking "journey" all the way through? This one keeps the powerful piano runs on the frontlines, while a whispy electronic beat updates its style for a possible run at Coachella, or wherever kids are hanging out these days.

Journey – "Don't Stop Believing (The Robin Seecharan Remix)"

Robin Seecharan holds tight to the classic '80s style in his rendition by dousing lines of blips and blops into the complete fold. It's like a broken Nintendo finally found its groove. That massive drop, tho!

LOWKISS vs Broz Rodriguez – "Dont Stop Believing (Dirt Cheap Remix)"

Ever wanted to hear the classic track run through the muck and remade as dirty as it possibly could be? This is it, this is your dream of that. Your search has ended thusly.

Journey – "Don't Stop Believin' (MYNGA Remix)"

This sounds like something David Hasselhoff would sink into a couch listening to while living in Miami. If ever the colors teal blue and shade pink were to make music together, this is it.

———-

Journey – "Don't Stop Believing (Sailors Remix)"

Sloooooowing it down, chilling it out, and throwing on that island vibe once more gets this Sailors remix done proper. Mai Tais and little umbrellas, that's all we can really think of right now.

———-

Journey – "Don't Stop Believing 2010 (Shock Therapy Remix)"

This one is actually our favorite of the remixes, mostly because of its accompanying video, which drools cheese and that funky beat concurrently. Take us back to those times, and haircuts!

———-

Avicii Feat Journey – "Don't Stop Believin (Official Video)"

Likely the most popular of all the song's remixes, the Avicii produced track is a rave-goers delicacy. Melding the old with the new, simply put, it's fire.
