Iowa candy-lover Robert McKevitt was fired and stripped of his unemployment benefits after he used a hulking, industrial forklift to extract a fallen Twix candy bar from a vending machine at his job.

When the delicious caramel-chocolate treat became lodged on a hook, Robert decided his best course of action was not to use his hands or brain to get the Twix. Instead, he thought he'd use something a little more powerful to dislodge his precious.

So, he commandeered a colossal forklift and charged at the offending vending machine with it, lifting the thing off the ground and dropping it several times in a display of power and low blood-sugar that can only be compared to King Kong, or the Hulk, or something. His coworkers were all, "Nice machine hack, bro."

And what did Robert get for his efforts once the vending machine beat-down subsided? Not one Twix, but three. Oh, and fired.

"That machine was trouble," Robert said. "They fired me, and now I hear they have all new vending machines there." That's too bad; looks like he should have "chewed that decision over" (cue enthusiastic laughter from the crowd).
