It's that time of year again, when students from across the globe are welcomed back to CU Boulder for the fall semester by the unmistakable WOMP of Krewella, this year's WelcomeFest headliner. The show, put on by CU's Program Council, is the first, and probably wildest, of the year. Their high-energy brand of electronica is known for getting even the staunchest CU freshman dancing like a maniac.

File Krewella under EDM -> Dubstep -> Fun -> Best Party Music Ever. This threesome is made up of two singer sisters (Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf)  and a DJ called Rain Man. They're brand new to the scene (their first EP, Play Hard, was released in 2011), but they're already making a big ol' splash. Their #1 single, "Alive," debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Dance Radio Airplay, and at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100. Plus, they've already  headlined a bunch of festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival and Stereosonic. Not too shabby, Krewella.

Check out "Alive."

Your BuffOne card is your ticket in, so bring that shit. CU students only. Sorry, CSU.
