Jump into the happy canoe and ride down the river of careless positivity with "Not A Care In The World."

It's been a rather depressing week for music already, what with the loss of one of the most important figures in the industry. But as Ziggy would likely have wanted it: the beat goes on, and good vibes continue to drench the industry in the way that it's meant to. The latest of inspiring heaters comes from the local outfit Chrome Drones, a live disco-house project featuring musicians/producers from Signal Path, Tiger Party and Particle.

Jump into the happy canoe and ride down the river of careless positivity with the band as "Not A Care In The World" brings you up from whatever funk you're in right now. The act is a relatively new project, but one that has one of the Colorado sounds written all over it.

Like what you hear? Catch the band live for a first ever residency series at Ophelia's Electric Soapbox. This Saturday, Jan 16, marks the first of three events, which take place once a month extending out to mid-March. For tickets and info visit OpheliasDenver.com.
