This one’s definitely worth a few dozen listens at least, and would be money well spent on the download if you’re into that whole “supporting good artists” thing people keep talking about.
“The 3hree Project started a little over a year ago at KMG Studios with a vision and creative mission. The idea was a lofty one, to bring various artists together who have very little in common except one thing; they all represent the best of Colorado’s music scene,” says The 3hree Project’s site about its secretive efforts.
Lofty being the understatement, because after listening to the new album released today from the artist collective, the term barely breaks the seal on the caliber of work it embodies. This is, quite simply, an amalgamation of the best emcees, production team, visionaries and worker bees in Colorado’s hip-hop industry today – and it doesn’t skimp on any heightened expectations, either.

Colorado needed this, and we’re glad for the team for making the vision a reality.
