The Boulder-based trio takes a small departure from their typical sound and delivers us a disco-heavy groove piece in the new track.

As a follow up to last week’s release of “Summoning Spirits,” the Boulder-based trio DYNOHUNTER takes a bit of a departure from their typically hard-hitting, electrified sound to give listeners a taste of a softer side with its latest tune.

Bursting with silky smooth house flavors, funk-filled percussion, saxy interludes, and the sultry lyrical styling of Precious Hill, “Sound of the City” is bound to bring out everyone’s finest disco moves and make for a few sweaty dance floors.

After bumping this for a hot minute, we cannot wait for the full album to be released mid-March. Until then, the samples will have to hold us over. So turn this baby up loud, put on your finest dancing shoes and grab some friends to form a circle of fun — ‘cause it’s about to get funky up in this piece!

Be on the lookout for more singles off of DYNOHUNTER’s new album, “The Nomad,” in the coming weeks; and don’t forget to mark your calendars for the official release on March 16.
