This morning Colorado local indie-rock outfit My Body Sings Electric liberated a new tune titled “Too Long Didn’t Read.” It’s one of many off of their upcoming album that’s scheduled to be released early next year. The pre-holiday gift is in advance of their shows in support of the album in Denver and Ft. Collins that take place at the end of January and beginning of February, respectively. Tickets for those shows are available now.

If that wasn’t enough to fill the breadth of your local music satiation, the band will also be performing alongside national acts Bastille, Grouplove, New Politics and Young The Giant for channel 93.3’s Not So Silent Night showcase at Broomfield’s 1st Bank Center on Sunday, December 1st. It’s a now long-standing tradition for the alternative rock channel to showcase Colorado talent alongside national newsmakers for this once in a band’s-time opportunity to play in front of thousands. Tickets for that are unfortunately sold out. Sorry, so slow!

But pre-orders are available for their new album via their Bandcamp page and include tickets to the release shows and an immediate download of 3 tracks online. What better way to tell those around you that you care by stuffing their stocking full with a postcard that says, “Hey, I love ya. Your gift is on its way.”
