It'd better be, because recently he took to his social media outlets to announce not only a new video for his single "Rings," but also spoke of an album that's on the way — available Apr 29. The Impossible Kid will be Aesop Rock's 7th studio album, again released on Rhymesayers Records, and his first in over 4 years — a space in time that likely provides plenty of source material to his new tracks.

As is clearly the case in "Rings" — a lyrical story Aesop lays out that he says is a reflection of failure as a visual artist.
