Well slap us raw and consider our new name to be Jolly Jane! When we woke up this morning we weren’t expecting this kind of smile-inducing news. The east coast dance-pop sensation Cobra Starship is back, ladies and gentlemen.

They’ve teamed up with Wallpaper. John Ryan and Icona Pop to bring you its newest end-of-the-summer-summer-jam “Never Been In Love.” It’s a more mature approach for the beloved bad boy frontman Gabe Saporta and a formidable tune to boot.

"'Never Been In Love' could give the impression that we wrote a song way too sad to be a Cobra Starship track," says Saporta in a recent press release, "But even when you hear the full lyric ('I know now, I've never been in love before') and realize the song is actually positive, something still seems off: Isn't this the guy who made 'Good Girls Go Bad?"

That was actually my hardest challenge when I began writing for our new album: how to reconcile being known as a bad-boy with the reality that I was growing up and getting married. I think this song captures my carefree attitude (that often got me into trouble in the past), but balances it with the realization that I finally found something to care about."
