Kids these days are off the charts when it comes to new music — and we aren't talking about the Justin Bieber YouTube sensations that keep clogging our press inbox. We're talking about young artists, hitting the streets and making a name for themselves with a unique style and original score. Enter Wil Akogu.

At just 17, the Chicago rapper has already been in the game for two and a half years and preformed with the likes of Yonas and Yelawolf. His new song "M.V.P. (Most Valuable Poet)" introduces a solid combination of lyrical wit and steady flow. He almost reminds us of a young and fresh Drake, only this time there's a little more substance to the lyrics of the song. If there's an artist to follow on the vast expanse of social media, it should be Wil Akogu.
