This question ran through our heads a few days ago when the local indie-pop outfit secretly released its Franklin Tapes Side-A (Side B is scheduled for an early '16 release) to unsuspecting fans. Some 3 songs deep, the Side-A collection warrants a good-couple listens for tune connoisseurs looking for fun new meat to toss in their shuffle sandwich. The band always relies on its catchy-as-hell hooks to pull listeners in, and the new tracks are no different.
