The subject of UFO/UAP’s is gaining more scientific credibility than it’s ever had.

As Navy reports and videos emerge (like the Nimitz Encounter), as phones get better and more inexplicable pictures and videos of UFO's are captured, and as the internet allows people to share stories and information faster than ever, the mystery has slowly started emerging from the shadows of taboo, and stepping into the realm of legitimate study.

It’s an exciting time to be interested in UFO’s. Even government officials like Senator Harry Reid, who was one of the lawmakers behind the Pentagon’s secretive UFO research program, are starting to come forward suggesting that our government is hiding far more evidence (and even proof) of these mysterious objects.

Which is why, when people like Haim Eshad come forward and start spewing completely nonsensical bullshit, from a place of actual authority, it is extremely misleading.

Eshad is the former head of Israel's Defense Ministry's space directorate, and an ex-general in their military. Today he’s a respected professor, with a new book coming out about him called, "The Universe Beyond the Horizon — conversations with Professor Haim Eshed" by Hagar Yanai.

And last week he made some bizarre statements. Statements that are outlandish and unfounded and sure to slow down the already reluctant mainstream acceptance of this subject.

"The Unidentified Flying Objects have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet," Eshed told the Yediot Aharonot newspaper of Israel. "They have been waiting until today for humanity to develop and reach a stage where we will understand, in general, what space and spaceships are."

What?

He went on to explain that humans and aliens had established a base on Mars, underground where they were doing research together. And they were also doing research here on Earth, he added.

But, perhaps the most outlandish claim made by Eshad (notably, ahead of this new book coming out) was that President Donald Trump was actually aware of all this and had decided to respect the extraterrestrial’s wishes and keep their presence a secret. Donald Trump. Keeping aliens on Earth and underground bases on Mars a secret.

That’s what he said. And unfortunately, it was picked up by mainstream media around the world. It spread and grabbed the attention of millions of people — skeptics, non-believers, and full-on fanatics. Some of whom took it to heart. And who could blame them? After all, this guy is ex-military. He was pretty high up and probably learned a thing or two the rest of us aren’t privy to.

And mixed in with some of the more legitimate developments of late, like the 2016 videos, and the 2020 Pentagon statement about having possession of “off-world vehicles not of this Earth” and the recent leak of a Navy pilot cockpit photo, it’s hard to parse out legit news from crazy bullshit.

The latter of which I believe (personally) Eshad’s recent statements to be.

Statements like these, compromise all of the progress this subject has made in the last ten years. UFO interest is no longer reserved for crackpots and jackasses. Scientists, politicians, military personnel, podcasters, newscasters, people of all denominations are starting to lean in with intrigue as legitimate evidence manifests.

Then you have someone like Eshad, who’s got a background that makes him sound like an authority and he comes out saying that we’ve already got humans on Mars, we’ve got aliens on Earth, they’re all working together, and Donald Trump knows about all of it but is keeping his big mouth shut. It’s just… well it’s insane.

And realistically, it’s just to sell more copies of this book that some geek is writing about Eshad, which he is surely getting royalties from.
