It's always entertaining to watch when a defeated individual clings to their very last bit of hope all the while their ship is going down in a ball of fire. Pat Robertson, media mogul and televangelist is a defeated individual and his ship is going down in a ball of firey shit. The 83-year-old just can't catch a break from the man up above. After the DOMA ruling came down, Pat Robertson immediately made his feelings known to the public in an interview on his show, the 700 Club.

“Ladies and gentlemen, your liberties are in danger because, read the Bible about Sodom and Gomorrah. That’s where the term comes from, Sodom. Look what happened to Sodom. After a while, there wasn’t any other way, and God did something pretty drastic," stated Robertson.

He went on to compare the liberalization of America to that of the fall of Rome — we're sure the fall of Rome came in the form of over-the-counter contraceptives, Planned Parenthood clinics and same-sex marriages. Still, the 83-year-old keeps on kicking and talking as he had some choice words for the participants in "Gay days" at Disney World:

"I would warn Orlando that you're right in the way of some serious hurricanes, and I don't think I'd be waving those flags in God's face if I were you, This is not a message of hate — this is a message of redemption. But a condition like this will bring about the destruction of your nation. It'll bring about terrorist bombs; it'll bring earthquakes, tornadoes, and possibly a meteor."

Pat, it's time to hang up your hat and retire to Florida. God hasn't come to your rescue nor punished the people you hoped he would. For your sake and your religion's sake, call it a day and hit the showers. You're not doing anyone a favor.

We couldn't end this piece without a few choice words from Pat Robertson on females. Enjoy.

1. "(T)he feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians." –Pat Robertson

2. "Like it or not, males have a tendency to wander a little bit. What you want to do is make a home so wonderful that he doesn’t want to wander." –Pat Robertson, giving advice on "The 700 Club" to a woman whose husband cheated on her
