Holy s#&* …
Brave people we are not. There's often a healthy dose of fear being carried around the office at all times, what with the imminent dangers of paper cuts and blood clots forming from lack of physical movement. The world is a dangerous place.
So when things are in the vicinity, like say, a fucking snake — we're doing our best to stay as far away from it as possible. We would not (like Indonesian pop star Irma Bule did) perform a song and dance with poisonous animals. Ever.
Things can go bad. Very, very bad.
According to reports, after the second song in Bule's set (a performance often featuring snakes of all kinds), the singer accidentally stepped on one cobra's tail, causing the veemous snake to retaliate and bite her on the thigh. After refusing an antidote (for reasons still unknown), Bule carried on for a full 45 minutes to finish her act. She later died at the hospital of complications from the bite.
As incredible as it is to take the whole "show must go on thing" to a whole new level, we're shocked nobody intervened to give her a life-saving shot when they saw massive fangs sticking out of her leg. Not very smart, if you ask us (completely still alive) cowards …
