The remix force is strong in this one …

Give it up one time for Disney right now. When the behemoth company bought the rights to Star Wars, people the world over complained they'd bastardize it and existence would end because of it, or whatever other mindless stuff outraged nerds were spouting off. But the company has completely put that sentiment behind it, it would seem, because people are going nuts over the new prospect and every corporation from Dodge to Target is licensing Star Wars shit for an image boost. This thing is huge. We're going to be in a Star Wars world until the very end of the last movie in the new series comes to an end. Get ready for it.

Other, more creative, Star Warsey stuff is popping up all over the 'net too. Take this remix album that combines the raps of Notorious B.I.G. and John Williams’ Oscar winning themes from the original Star Wars. Titled Life After Death Star, it's surprisingly not at all sucky or treading too highly on its gimmick delivery. It takes a brave soul to try and get something out like this to finicky fans, but by jove they've done it. The force is strong in this one.
